Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use the Service, we collect:

• Pages you submit for audit — the URL and the fetched HTML/content of that page, processed to produce your audit and, briefly, cached to serve the report.
• Account data — name, email address, and organization details, collected via our identity provider when you sign up for a paid plan or dashboard access.
• Billing data — subscription plan, status, and renewal dates. Card and payment details are collected and processed entirely by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data — audits run, pages tracked, API calls, and similar product-usage signals tied to your account, used for entitlement enforcement and product improvement.
• Technical data — IP address, browser/device information, and bot-verification signals collected to prevent abuse of the free audit tool.

• To run the audit you requested and generate your report.
• To create and secure your account, and enforce plan entitlements (audit frequency, citation slots, seats).
• To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send billing-related communications.
• To send transactional email — audit reports, account notices, and billing receipts.
• To generate LLM-enhanced fix recommendations on paid plans: constrained findings from your audit (not your full raw page) are sent to a third-party AI provider’s API to produce ready-to-paste copy; this never invents new findings.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and excessive automated use of the free tool.
• To improve the Service — aggregated, de-identified usage patterns only.

We share data only with the processors that operate the Service, each bound to process it on our behalf:

• Identity provider — authentication and organization/account management.
• Payment processor — payment processing, subscription billing, tax, and invoicing.
• Database provider — database storage for accounts, audit history, and subscription state.
• Job queue provider — job queue and rate-limiting infrastructure for audits.
• Email delivery provider — delivery of transactional email.
• AI provider — LLM-based recommendation generation, on paid plans only.
• Hosting provider — application hosting.
• Bot-verification provider — bot-verification on the free audit form.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We use strictly necessary cookies set by our identity provider to maintain your signed-in session, and a verification token set by our bot-verification provider to distinguish human visitors from bots on the free audit form. We don’t use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Audit reports and account data are retained for as long as your account is active, so you can review your audit history and track changes over time. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or export of your audit history, by emailing support@emayil.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and verify your identity before acting on the request. If you’re in a jurisdiction with statutory data-protection rights (such as the EU/UK GDPR or India’s DPDP Act), those rights apply in addition to what’s described here.

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from them.

We rely on our processors’ security controls (encryption in transit, access controls) and apply the principle of least privilege to internal access to your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Mayil Digital is based in India; our processors operate infrastructure in multiple countries (including the United States and the EU). By using the Service, you consent to your data being processed in those locations, subject to this Policy.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate, notified to account holders by email.
