Terms of Service

Mayil audits a web page or site and scores how well AI answer engines (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews) can crawl, parse, trust, and cite it, then returns a prioritized list of fixes. The single-page readiness check is free with no account required. Paid plans add scheduled tracking, citation monitoring, full-site brand-authority audits, LLM-enhanced fix generation, and white-label reporting for agencies.

Audit findings are generated deterministically from the parsed content of the page you submit, and are informational. They are our assessment of machine-legibility signals, not a guarantee that any AI engine will crawl, index, rank, or cite your page, and not professional legal, financial, or medical advice.

The free audit requires no account. Paid features, the dashboard, and audit history require an account, created via our identity provider. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for activity that occurs under your account or organization. Notify us promptly at support@emayil.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly) through our payment processor and reseller of record. They handle payment collection, invoicing, and applicable tax — by subscribing, you also agree to their buyer terms. Prices shown on emayil.com are set by us; our payment processor displays your final checkout total including any tax.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard, which opens our payment processor’s customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Agency plans are billed for clients active (audited or tracked) in a given billing period; we may adjust your plan tier if your active-client count exceeds your plan’s limit.

You agree not to:

• Submit URLs you don’t have the right to audit for a purpose that violates the target site’s terms or applicable law.
• Attempt to bypass, overload, or abuse rate limits, crawl budgets, or bot-protection on the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service’s output as your own audit engine, except under an active white-label agency plan and solely for reports covering your own clients.
• Use the Service to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, or deceptive.
• Interfere with the Service’s infrastructure or attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or data.

The Service — including the audit engine, scoring methodology, check registry, and Service software — is owned by Mayil Digital and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service per these Terms and your plan’s entitlements.

You retain ownership of the content on pages you submit for audit. Audit reports we generate for your pages are yours to use, share, and (on a white-label agency plan) present under your own brand to your clients.

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate: identity and account management, payment processing and billing, database storage, job queue and rate limiting, transactional email delivery, LLM-based recommendation generation (on paid plans), and application hosting. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ own terms where you interact with them directly (e.g. the payment checkout and customer portal).

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that audit results are error-free, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that following our recommendations will result in any specific outcome, ranking, or citation by any AI engine or search platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mayil Digital will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000 if you’re on the free tier.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with notice where practicable, for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that we reasonably believe creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
