Refund Policy

This policy covers cancellations and refunds for paid subscriptions to the Mayil AEO/GEO audit engine, billed and processed by our payment processor on behalf of Mayil Digital.

1. The free tier

The single-page readiness audit is free — no card, no trial clock, nothing to refund. This policy applies only to paid subscriptions (Starter, Growth, Pro, and Agency plans).

2. No refunds, cancel anytime

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for each monthly period and are non-refundable, including for partial or unused periods. There’s no cancellation fee and no lock-in: you can cancel whenever you like, and you won’t be billed again after your current period ends.

We keep this simple deliberately — you always retain full access through the end of the period you already paid for, so canceling never cuts you off mid-cycle, and we never need to prorate a partial refund.

3. How to cancel

  • Sign in and open your dashboard.
  • Select “Manage subscription” — this opens our payment processor’s customer portal for your account.
  • Cancel from the portal. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the free tier and stops billing.

4. Exceptions

We’ll review refunds outside the standard policy on a case-by-case basis for:

  • A duplicate or erroneous charge caused by a billing or system error on our side.
  • A charge that went through after you had already successfully canceled.
  • Failures on our part to deliver the paid feature you subscribed for (e.g. a sustained service outage affecting your plan).

To request a review, email support@emayil.com with your account email and the charge in question. We’ll respond within a few business days.

5. Agency plans

Agency plans bill for clients active (audited or tracked) during a billing period. Reducing your active clients lowers next period’s charge going forward — it does not refund the current or past periods, in line with the no-refund policy above.

6. Payment processing & disputes

All payments are processed by our merchant of record, who issues your receipt and handles payment-method disputes. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us first at support@emayil.com — we can usually resolve it faster than a card chargeback, and a chargeback filed before contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
